CLEARWATER ARTS ALLIANCE LAUNCHES A NEW PUBLIC ART PROJECT AT INTERSECTIONS LOCATED ALL OVER CLEARWATER

Have you noticed the colorful art appearing on those drab intersection signal boxes?  (Hint: the first ones are located near the Capitol Theater, O’Keefe’s and Pier 60)  The Clearwater Arts Alliance plans to install these colorful wraps all over town.

As part of its continuing mission to advocate for and promote public art in Clearwater, the CAA engaged local artists Ray Paul, Ya La’ford, and Tim Boatright to provide images for installation on traffic signal boxes in Clearwater. The project already has 19 locations downtown and on the beach, with more locations to follow!

CAA, a 501c3 nonprofit art support organization, seeks private and corporate sponsors to help beautify Clearwater while providing public art for residents and visitors, and supporting local artists. Contact CAA President Beth Daniels at: bethd@jpfirm.com for more information on sponsorship opportunities.
